Kids for Wish Kids®

Kids For Wish Kids® is a program for students of all ages to sponsor wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions, while encouraging community service and promoting leadership.

With more than 100 schools and children's groups in Illinois participating annually, Kids For Wish Kids® programs have proven to be very beneficial not only for wish children, but students, schools, and entire communities. Whether it's a dance, coin drive, walk-a-thon, or talent show, Kids for Wish Kids projects are fun and creative ways to make a difference in the lives of children in your community.  Follow these steps to get your school involved today!

  1. Download the Kids for Wish Kids Handbook.
  2. Fundraising ideas are limited only by your imagination! Plan a walk-a-thon or here are some other ideas. You can always come up with an inspired event of your own as well.
  3. Get approval from Make-A-Wish®. Please print and complete the Kids for Wish Kids Activity Form.
  4. Submit the form to Make-A-Wish.
  5. If you have any questions or would like additional information, contact us at 800.978.9474 (toll-free) or avpuryr@jvfurf.bet.
Not only have we granted the wishes of many children, but we have also granted our wish for our students - that they reach out to those in need with compassion and support.”
