What is Walk for Wishes?

Powered by wish families, volunteers, companies and friends, Walk For Wishes® is a Make-A-Wish® fundraiser that celebrates the thousands of wishes that have already been granted, while raising funds for future wishes. By participating, you can help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children battling life-threatening medical conditions in your community.

Team up with your family, friends, community group or co-workers for a fun morning where, together, we make it possible for wishes to come true. Enjoy a peek into the wish experience through our WISH VILLAGE and meet wish families and other supporters inspired by the mission of Make-A-Wish.

Email us with questions about sponsorship opportunities or joining one of our walk planning committees.

  • "His wish showed him that there is and always will be something to look forward to in the future. The countdown for this once in a lifetime experience was like no other. He focused on getting through many rough days of treatments knowing that things would be going better for him and he would again feel like doing fun things again. It gave him hope like he had really started to lose after being diagnosed. Missing out on school, playing sports and not seeing his friends on a regular basis like before was very difficult on him. We had talked of the Hawaii trip since the day he was told and that gave everyone something to look forward to while he was having such a hard time." - Kara, Wish Mom
