Join us for a unique walk event that provides all participants a glimpse into the magic of a wish. For children diagnosed with critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish offers hope and can be an important part of their treatment. Make-A-Wish invites everyone to be a part of bringing life-changing experience to seriously ill children by joining Walk for Wishes on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village.
A recent study shows that a Make-A-Wish experience led to increased emotional and physical health.
Critically ill kids who are emotionally healthy are more likely to overcome their medical conditions, and Make-A-Wish invites area residents to join with other caring community members to restore their optimism and joy. Our goal of raising $300,000 will impact thousands of people in Illinois through the wish experience.
