Referral Outreach Director

This newly created role is responsible for developing, managing and executing strategic initiatives to increase referrals of eligible children across the state of Illinois. Manages team to increase visibility and clarity about Make-A-Wish Illinois in the healthcare community and among families whose children may be eligible for wishes. Oversees intake and qualification process for inquiring families.

Corporate Giving Director

This newly created role is responsible for the oversight and direction of the Corporate Giving program (including local corporate gifts, sponsorship, and national partnerships with Make-A-Wish America) to reach an overall goal of $3-$4 million. Develops programmatic solutions to support the Fund Development Strategy. Manages a team of gift officers in pursuit of increasing revenue in an efficient and sustainable manner. Independently develops and manages a portfolio of high-impact corporate relationships.

Corporate Gift Officer – Local

Manages a portfolio of businesses and corporate foundations in order to raise $500,000 - $750,000 in support of our mission. Duties include identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and ongoing management of local corporate donors, prospects and suspects in the Greater Chicago area. Key focuses are on work-place giving, cause-marketing programs, corporate event sponsorships, and in-kind corporate campaigns. Attendance at weekend and evening events may be required. This position requires local travel upwards of 30%.

Director of Individual Giving

Responsible for the oversight and direction of the Individual Giving program (including major gifts, annual fund, and planned giving). The Director will manage a team of gift officers, and lead the team to increase revenue in an efficient and sustainable manner. S/he will work with the Chief Development Officer to develop programmatic solutions in support of a transformational approach to development for the Chapter. Additionally, the Director will cultivate and manage a portfolio of high‐impact donors.

Development Services Manager

Manages the Development support areas for efficiency and effective operation. These areas include research, prospect management, gift processing, stewardship, and maintaining or developing operational practices and procedures for use by Development team.

Development Services Coordinator

Accurately and consistently records and acknowledges donor gifts. Collaborates cross-departmentally to ensure best practices are identified and followed for gift entry and acknowledgement.
